What we collect
When you contact us by phone, email or the booking link, we collect the information you choose to give us — typically your name, contact details and a description of your business. If you become a client, we collect the financial records needed to perform the engagement.
This website does not run advertising trackers. Standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited.
How we use it
To respond to your enquiry, to deliver the services you have engaged us for, and to meet our own legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except where necessary to deliver the service (for example your accounting software provider) or where required by law.
Client financial records
Financial records supplied to us in the course of an engagement are treated as confidential. Access is limited to what is required to do the work. Records are retained for as long as required by applicable law and professional practice, then securely destroyed.
Third-party services
Scheduling runs through Calendly, and accounting work runs in QuickBooks Online or Xero depending on the engagement. Each of those providers handles data under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Email sligerbookkeeping@gmail.com and we will respond.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
