Your books closed every month and reconciled to the bank — so when the decision in front of you needs a number, you already have it. Run by a bookkeeper who spent nearly thirty years inside real businesses before he ever kept a set of books for a living.
Above: The Sliger signal — our short title film of the searchlight over the Little Rock skyline, playing on this page.
The reality for most owners
Receipts pile up on the counter. Reconciliations slide into next month. Payroll questions sit in the inbox. Tax season arrives before the year is closed.
None of that is a bookkeeping problem on its own. The problem is what it costs you: you cannot tell whether last month made money, you cannot answer a lender or a landlord without a week of preparation, and you cannot decide whether you can afford to hire.
You did not open a business to spend evenings sorting paperwork. You opened it to run it.
Every owner needs somebody in the background who has already done the preparation — so that when the moment comes, the answer is ready.
That is the whole job here. Sliger Bookkeeping keeps the record straight and current so that you are never the last person to find out how your own business is doing.
What we do
Two things Sliger Bookkeeping is known for: keeping monthly books that close on time, and rescuing books that are months or years behind. Everything else supports those two.
Your books closed every month, reconciled to the bank, on a schedule you can set your watch by.
Monthly Bookkeeping detailsMonths or years behind? That is the job, not a problem. We sort the backlog and get you current.

Consulting & Reporting detailsWhy Mo
Most bookkeepers learned to read a profit and loss statement in a course. Mo Sliger spent nearly thirty years in the restaurant industry, most of it in management, reading them every week when getting the number wrong cost him something.
That is why restaurants, bars and food service businesses end up here. When you say “prime cost is creeping” or “comps are eating the week,” there is no translation step. He has run the shift.
He is also an Intuit Advanced ProAdvisor certified in QuickBooks Online at Level 2 — and he runs Xero daily by preference. In a market where nearly every firm is QuickBooks-only, that means the platform recommendation you get is about your business, not about the one tool your bookkeeper knows.

Where we work
Little Rock is the core of the book. Clients as far away as the Chicago area are handled exactly the same way, because the work is done in the cloud either way.
Extended partnership and S-corp returns are due September 15, and extended personal returns October 15. A clean-up takes weeks, not days — the calendar is the reason to start this month rather than next. The consultation is free, nothing is sold on the call, and you leave with a scope and a price.
Mo answers his own phone. Same-day reply, every time.
